After some serious thought, I decided to quit playing computer games. I tend to get too engrossed in the games I play and neglect everything else. For example, a few years ago, I flunk my Final Year Project in poly because I was too engrossed with MapleStory. (I retook my Final Year Project and got an A). If I did not retake my final year project module, I would probably enter army a year earlier and be in ORD mood by now. :D

Another reason why I decided to quit gaming is because I’m spending too much time on games during my weekends and procrastinate working on my other plans. I have projects to complete, driving lessons to clear, friends to meet up with and lots of other things that I know will have a much positive long term effect if done.

After going through an entire weekend without computer games, I appreciate other forms of entertainment more. I start to open up and am less introverted (Yes, I think I’m an introvert).  I enjoy chatting and joking around with my friends more. I used to dread going out with my friends during my weekends because I just want be at home playing Dota or L4D online.

Right now, I look forward to meeting my Tango (my previous OCS wing) section mates this Saturday, its been a long time since I last saw them. I also feel more motivated and focused to work on my projects because I know theres nothing else left to do on my computer after uninstalling all my games. :D

It was a great night. The food was great, ah gua comedians who were really funny, great performances, very fun crowd :)

A video montage was played, showing the training we went throught and the funny things that happened. Some of us got quite emo after watching the video. The coolest part of the video was Wei Lun saying how much he love his GF while holding his rifle during Ex. Scorpion King. I think his GF must had been really touched after watching it.

Really enjoyed myself that night :)

Tango Wing, Platoon 2, Section 1 (50%). These are the people I went through thick and thin with during service term.

From Left: LTA Ivan (our section instructor), Boh Wei (bunk mate), Ronald, Jia Junn, Wei Lun and me.

I’ll update this post with more pics :)

OMGWTFBBQ..

I’m in OCS.

Just passed out from BMTC yesterday. My parents attended my POP. I’m happy that they came. Especially my mum, I was surprised when I heard that she was coming. She came all the way to Tekong with my dad even though she was busy. I really appreciate that. Thanks mum!

the next phase.

I’ll be the best guy I can ever be. To have all the power I need to love and hate.

7 months of hard work and I’m finally done. *pinch self*  OMFG. I’m not dreaming.

Today is an auspicious day to launch my site. No la, I didnt specially choose this date. I just happen to finish uploading the site today. I’m starting to love the number 6 :D

Its 4:35am and I’m having a terrible headache. I havent done a through production check. This website had been tested on Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 2 and 3, Opera and of couse my personal favourite Apple Safari. If you spot any bug or anything that looks funny, just give me a call or sms.

This site is on full auto mode, it automatically searches the internet for movie information, cinema showtimes and the coolest thing is that it also searches Youtube for movie trailers. Which means that I do not have to worry about updating the site manually when I go for NS next week.

The trailers are 90% accurate, it still fetches the wrong trailer sometimes, but I will continue to tweak it till its perfect.

This is the most technically challenging website I’ve ever created.

If you love me, click here

don’t forget to set your favourite cinemas ;-)

driving at 120kmh without a license, getting stopped at a police road block, and than getting away with it.

plus the unshakable euphoric feeling after that. shiokness 8)

Checked my weight at the weighing machine after my workout just now, it reads 60.3 kg! woohoo! I’ve been trying to hit 60kg since 1902380123 years ago, so its quite a big thing to me.

I thought that my abs and thigh muscles would be less defined if I gained weight, but my abs are still as toned as ever. I think the reason why I am gaining weight so slowly is because of irregular meals and the subconscious fear of losing my 6 pecs. I’ll work on improving my eating habits and diet.

Next Goal: Reach 63 kg.

I spent 2 hours following the videos and finally got it right ! :D It took me quite some time to get used to the notations and algorithms.

The cube I play with belongs to my sis. Its not the official cube, the colours are different (pink instead of yellow) and the stickers are peeling :? plus it feels really tight and flimsy. I wanna get the official cube to practise with.

New Goal: Solve a 3×3 cube within 3 minutes (by 5th of April). :D

I just received an SMS from Ngee Ann Poly, notifying me of my latest exam results. I got an A for my Final Year Project, after a few seconds, I realised that an A for my Final Year Project would result in a GPA 4 for this semester. So I quickly logged on to my student account to check my results. I really got a GPA 4! :D

everyone say wah!

5 months of hard work was worthed it. 8)
